Upgrades

LDS Companion continues to evolve as the LDS Church releases new products on CD or changes the content of the FamilySearch website.

From earlier versions of LDS Companion

If you already have a copy of LDS Companion (v2.00 or later), you may obtain the latest version free of charge by sending an email, requesting the upgrade (but please allow a few days for a response).

See Version History to see if you have the latest version.

It would be helpful to identify whether you bought the program direct from Archer Software or not. If you originally bought the program from a third party supplier (e.g. S&N) you will have received a blue registration form with the package. If you haven't already returned this (or emailed the details), please don't ask for a free upgrade.

From IGIREAD

IGIREAD was the forerunner of LDS Companion, designed to convert IGI export files only.

Upgrade Prices

From LDS Companion ver 1.00-1.23, the upgrade is £8.
From IGIREAD ver 4.0 or later (the Windows release), the upgrade is £10.
From IGIREAD 3.00-3.43 (the older, DOS version), the upgrade is £12.
